I was looking at the list of all the current prospects rights set to expire without a contract and O’Brien was the only 1st rounder and only 1 other was even a 2nd rounder. Pretty much all were 4th rounder or worse.
Its hard to miss this badly on a pick.
Hextall’s picks over his last 3 drafts were criminally bad. We had 7 top 40 picks in them and they turned into:
O’Brien, Ratcliffe, Laberge, Rubstov, Patrick, Frost, Farabee …
Hextall is a fucking dunce
