First! Great trade for Anaheim in my opinion, But Buffalo doesn’t lose this trade either. I think both teams win here.

I doubt Buffalo spends the cap space on adding players. With Dahlin, Power and Mittelstadt all coming due space needs to be preserved. Especially for Dahlin and Power who will command big money
Ducks gonna have a few rookies applying for a spot on the NHL roster so he’s a good depth piece, the kids are gonna have to battle for a spot
From a sabres Fan.. He was rather disappointing. He had a few big hits but he was supposed to be a tone setter with physicality and quite frankly he failed his job in my eyes. He was replaced immidiately by Clifton who had 2x the amount of hits. Lybuskin also never fought and with having young core guys you need to be able to protect them and i just thought his energy was off for the team. Further more he wasnt the best on the Pk and where he slots as a 3rd pairing defenseman you need to bring PK skills or or more to your game which he just doesnt have. Hes miediocre in transition and his blue line hold ability/ play extension in zone is basiclaly non existant which is why he cant slot higher up in your lineup. He also has some injury issues which is maybe why he seemed a little timid but as far as im concerned ive seen what ive needed to see and we basically got a free 4th round pick for getting rid of something we wanted to get rid of and didnt have a spot for. Another Kevyn Adams W wish him the best in Anaaheim.
