The story goes that the LA Kings changed to BLACK because the LA Raiders football jerseys were selling and being worn in MTV videos. I HATE black or dark blue jerseys for NHL teams. The are horrible on TV because of the high contrast white ice and just boring. Save black jerseys for the gift shop LA but keep the reverse retro as your primary.

Being a Kings fan, I agree with this list. I kind of like the 50th anniversary jersey with the gray and gold lining but could never find one.
The fact that Gretzky! had to wear. That horrible Burger King Jersey is sad.
I prefer the original gold to the 1980s gold. It is actually more gold like as Vegas now. It's my second favourite to the reverse retro.

I like the 1998 Los Angeles Kings sweater, highlighted as the Wayne Gretzey Jersey, ranked in second place by Neil.
Fun fact the Jersey at 1:47 was designed to the same guy who did the patriots logo
Funny how some teams (and of course Adidas) hit home runs (Kings, Avs, NYR, and a few others) and strike out (my beloved Red Wings) with these reverse retros.

Purple and gold is legendary
I prefer the 1988-89 Silver and Black “Raiders” inspired jerseys, but the newer purple and gold versions of them are pretty kick ass.

100% Agree. Besides buying my Avs 1st Reverse Retro jersey, I had to buy 3 others. That was in order:
1-LA Kings
2-Minnesota Wild
3-Montreal Canadians
And I'm not a fan of any of those 3 teams, but the jerseys are almost good enough to get me onboard. LA did another great job in their 2022 RR's as well, had to buy that one too.
Their current home jerseys are my favourite ones. So clean
4:44 Kings jerseys should always have a crown on the front. I mean really….. what else is more symbolically important for a team called The Kings? The "home plate" logo is just boring to me. No style to that at all.
Also, I like the convention that you see in baseball uniforms, where the teams road jerseys feature the name of the city written on the front. So I like "Los Angeles" on the front bottom of this jersey. The city name is not needed at all for a home uniform.
Team crests on top of the shoulders are good too.
The numbers seem a bit over stylized on this one to me, but they aren't bad really.

For primary colors, a dark purple, or gold, or white are all good. Purple for the road, gold or white for home is what I'd like. Make either the gold or the white the "third jersey" occasional color.
Some silver in the crown or numbers could be OK, but again, NO sparkles.
I'd go primary dark purple on the road, white and purple half of the time at home, and gold and purple half of the time at home.
Gretz is gone, they need to go back to yellow and the league needs to get a clue and reverse back to light jerseys at home DUH
The all gold top to bottom from the late 60’s to late 70’s is my all time favorite. They just stood out when you watched them.
