First time I’ve ever and will ever upvote Canadiens content, but I just love that little fucker

  2. Throw most recently retired high scoring forwards exclusively on the power play and I’m sure they’ll do well.

    Better than anyone you know!

there’s no question that he can still keep up from a mental perspective. the question is, can he keep up from a physical perspective? Can his body handle the wear and tear? Does he still have the wheels?

Showing the boys, he is still one of them. Gotta love MSL!

    Oh la la indeed.

  6. Crunchyleafz

Play him 10-13m a night with half of that being PP time

  7. Dank_Bubu

Yeah, let’s give him top line minutes with Jagr

  8. In a no contact league? Yes! But I doubt he wants to put his body through that.

  9. Dontdothatfucker

Yeah, they’ve iced the Blues every season since 1967

Most hockey players don’t retire because they can’t play at a high level, it’s that they can’t play at a high level for 82 games a year and keep their bodies in tact.

In my beer league? Yeah. He’d probably put up a minimum of 10 points a game. In the NHL? No. Age is a bitch. He’s one of the best players of all time but no one can beat aging.

He makes it look so easy and graceful

  13. -BJT91

No he’s to old now but his ability to dangle will always be there basically

Moves – yes. Speed and stamina – time may have caught up by now.
