Can someone explain why that’s a benefit (or not)?
When you’re the Leafs and have the money printer that they do… it just makes sense to structure every single major contract like this.
They don’t have cashflow considerations to worry about unlike some other teams, they should flex that might with every single contract.
I am not a fan of this contract 😕
