There are probably only a couple of teams in the NHL that have enough of tradeable assets for Pettersson whom would sign with as well, CBJ and DET.

Re: Shane Wright….I felt bad for the kid when drafted BUT his ego seemed to get the better of him when he gave the Habs the "stare down"…. he's had a few setbacks but he's talented and only 19 yo. Get him into the AHL to develop his skills and let's see if he improves enough to move to the NHL.
Re: Lafrenierre…still young and with potential. Sometimes it's a poor match between player & team…a change of scenery could spark his career & may be exactly what he needs.
Re: Pettersson in Vancouver…..no way the Canucks part ways with that kid w/o a MAJOR haul!!!! Pettersson is one of the best young players in the game and would command a high price. It would be a huge blow to the Canucks if he's lost faith in the team and in the vision of management…..the only way it makes sense if he gets traded to the Habs for Mike Pezzetta….😁😁😁 Spoken like a true Habs fan, eh!!!!!
