## What’s on the horizon
– Replacing the arena’s main center-hung scoreboard for the ‘24-’25 season
– Addressing and upgrading the arena’s sound system, studying the acoustics and the work of the lapendary panels that hang from the ceiling.
– Replacing the arena’s roof, which is the original version dating to the building’s 1996 opening
Pegula is going to pay for these upgrades but this also means his preferences will be the reality. Mentions how the scoreboard will be smaller and not as cutting-edge as others due to the cost.
Still no plans to replace the seating as that would be done in a much larger scale project that would call for funds from the county and New York State.
The Jumbotron doesn’t need to be as massive as the biggest ones. Just a nice new one would do.
Some people’s obsession with a new scoreboard is just weird to me
