  1. Well, probably a bad call on that, but are we surprised with these refs anymore? Either way it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game…..moving on.

  2. Literally less than a second. Even when a person is on skates they need at least three seconds before they can stop commuting to full forward motion. This dude was on skates. Clean hit every day of the week.

  3. Sorry canes fans but that’s a clean hit all day. Buddy shouldn’t have been puck watching cause he’s playing hockey & got crushed doing so lol

  4. They didn’t see that the puck actually did touch Necas stick. That’s the confusion.

  5. When he committed everyone including Necas looking at Necas’ skates for it

  6. Love how they cut the slo-mo right after he touched the puck. Show the whole play. Necas plays the puck. Tough to see anyone go down, but he was eligible to be hit there. No penalty.

  7. I’ve been waiting for this kid to get called up in LA. He’s something we have needed and he has been making an impact every game. Clean hit. Debatable call

  8. This was a 2 min minore but Brett Connolly got a 5 and a game misconduct for almost the same hit

  9. What does this guy mean 'the puck was no where near'? He back handed it to his teammate!! Maybe a nanosecond late, that's it.

  10. He’ll be fine. The ass beating they put on the kings last night will hurt for a while though.

  11. Sportsnet: Necas shaken up from thundering hit from Sean Durzi”
Reality: Durzi throws cheap shot hit vs unsuspecting player Necas who did not have the puck or even close to it! That is when a fight needs to happen and not when a big clean hit is thrown.

  12. Clean it there's less than a second that goes by after the puck is off his stick and before he gets hit the referee saw that he was injured and felt like he had to throw up his arm it's called finishing your check the puck doesn't have to be there just ask to be right after the puck is gone.

  13. Necas is a great young player but he needs to learn to keep his head up. this is the second time he's got destroyed cause he hasn't been following one of the most basic principles of hockey. only difference is Killorn wasn't penalized for his hit

  14. So slow the game down? For the sake of more goals? You're making the game more violent in this case.
