  1. NHL fans remind me of the comic book nerd from The Simpson’s: smug, elitist, and complains about everything.

  3. Honestly i want them to pick a team they by consensus dont like. Win on the road. Then do it.Boom! Instant rivalry. I wouldnt mind even if another team wins here and does it to start one.

  4. I have never seen as many bitter people as I do in these comments. Whatever happened to you in life that makes you act that way I hope you get over it instead of acting like you have a stick up your ass

  5. This is definitely the new NHL they used to do this in house League. I guess this is how they have to sell the game down in the states good luck 🚨🚨🚨🚨👎

  6. Can u imagine a team trying this on the broad street bullies from the 70’s…Shultze and Clarke would’ve destroyed these players for show boating them up. This is absolutely disrespectful and there is no need for it. It’s bad enough players skate the bench when scoring a goal, knock off the shenanigans post game, get off the ice and celly in the room like your suppose to. Fans that “need” ‘‘this type of celebration should stick to watching soccer or the NFL

  7. Coincidentally, that’s how 3 of their 4 goals were scored.

  8. Don't care what others think….for the Canes fans this post-game celebration is pure joy. The opposing team is off the ice, so it's not like rubbing their face in it – it just brings the fans and the team closer together. Keep it up, "Canes!

  9. to Scuba Steve: I used to dislike A.O. for hurling his body against the panels after scoring but eventually came around to understand it as his particular style and creative expression, traditions aside. If we all let tradition rule us like a bunch of wanna-be nobility we won't have advancements in self expression. Of course, I'm not for letting our brains fall out or allowing expression that is vulgar or demeaning, neither of which the Canes celebrations even approach in any sense whatsoever. The accusations that this came from the front office are, if founded in fact, the most disturbing aspect of all for me. One would HOPE this was a player initiated thing. If it's corporate, I vote negative. If player, positive. As for it being "unprofessional", hey, WHO are the professionals at this moment in time? Those guys on the ice. If they want to change the way THEIR team celebrates they are 100% within their own sphere and right to do so. If non-professionals can't handle it, too bad. It's not their league.

  10. Meanwhile, The Canes have the best Record in the NHL since DEC 31 at 17-5-1. 2019 is the Year of The StormSurge!

  11. Even if you do hate this, it’s only one team just chill
If you ain’t a Canes fan then why complain anyway

  12. I'll tell you, leave it to Justin Williams to make everything so much fun. indeed he was a automatic fan favorite the couple seasons with the caps. I don't get to see the home games, but i wish I would have gotten NHL center ice, but they arenot doing it anymore, which is a bummer. Personally I absolutely love what the"jerks" do. when the canes don't play the caps, I will always root for them.
