First of all, a team like Vegas doesn’t have the assets/players to make that trade.
It would take 2 x 1st round picks from a team that will finish in the bottom 20 this year, as well as two blue chip prospects IMO.

Teams like Detroit, Anaheim, Buffalo, Montreal, or Ottawa would be the only ones with the right assets to make the deal. You could add Arizona in that mix if they decide that they want to field a major league team finally.
I don’t even wanna hear this kind of negative talk. We are nothing without him. He’s as close to a generational talent we have. Pay da man. Hopefully he doesn’t wanna leave

What if the whole team refuses to take the ice because of a poor start and we’re forced to trade the whole team? What could Vancouver trade Hughes, Demko, Pettersson and Miller for? 🤪
It would have to be monumental. I’m thinking of a blue chip center, defender, and an unprotected first round pick.
