For the past 2-3 years, if I open an Editor in Leaf article and I see James Tanner at the top, I immediately leave the page. Some of the worst takes I’ve seen.
I get it’s not the highest quality site, but even at that, his stuff is brutal.
At first I thought he was just a die-hard Leafs fan but he has some very strange ideas. He is definitely a huge backer of the team though. If you read him just remember to take it all with a grain of salt.

I think he is a bot. This website is from a company that uses AI to produce clickbait articles and then sell advertisements. The AI crawls posts by other commentators plus fans for ideas and content. Advertisers see the clicks and pay. The company serves many other markets and sports in US…. it’s a vampire.

The writers over at editor in leaf are just confident bullshiters. They either played hockey and were absolute shit or never played at all. The first time i ever questioned a sports columnists competency was with these clowns.
