this prospect pool is so loaded it’s insane. the potential is definitely there and if it all pans out this team would be scary good. i mean fantilli and jiricek are some of the best prospects they’ve ever had.
ah I was longing for that one, I was so happy to be surprised by your picking order. I didn't know much about Ceulemans for instance, very interesting.
I also wanted to see how you would place Dumais. I've heard also that it's defending was in question not to say absent at times (although I've seen him intercept some pucks in the playoffs in a way that tells me only half a handful of kids his age can match his vision on the ice), but it has to be noted also that he racked that many points while almost exclusively playing on the second line and being one of the rare 18:19 year old in a team (the second best in the Q, if not the whole CHL) at the end of its peak or cycle with a majority of players 2 years older, in their last stint in the Q. What impressed me the most about him is his passing, it's absolutely out of this world so I'm particularly keen to see how he performs this year if he can keep that laser accuracy at a higher leve. I'm ok with him not improving much on his skating if he can maintain that passing ability leagues ahead of everyone (ok, save for a Bedard).
He kind of reminds me of soccer players such as Carlos Valderrama or Pablo Aimar who were exactly that, nowhere near the fastest guys on the field but a passing ability like no others.
