    No debate that it’s Arizona.

  2. Allatura19

Lame as in “an uninteresting arena”? The SAP is a good answer. Without the nickname there’s not much special about the building itself.

  3. F1Barbie83

Arizona.. the asu arena only holds 5000 people. It’s also lacking in concessions and don’t even get me started on the fact that every ticket is over $200

  4. yemx0351

Think the only right answer at this time is Arizona.

  5. ubcthrowaway-01

Barring Arizona, the Saddledome seems outdated

  6. Automation_Papi

The Rangers, sure it’s a historic venue but concourses and seating bowl are bland, the bathrooms are tiny with long lines, and the exit corridors look like a NYCHA building, people piss in the stairwells just like the projects

  7. Ilkley_dipper

The Coyotes lack of a roof, walls, seats, or even ice would suggest theirs isn’t great

  8. burnerAcxnt98

Has to be Calgary IMO that mf is always flooding or something always wrong with it

  9. MetalXHorse

The tank gets hella loud because of the low ceiling and it’s built into the ground. What is this slander?

  10. 136AngryBees

Philly. They can’t even get their escalators to work right

  11. Fausto_Alarcon

Calgary hands down. Cool outside appearance- the arena itself is terrible for 2023.

  12. Grinning_Dog

As a Bruins fan, TD Garden is pretty lame. Building was so ugly they had to cover it up with luxury apartment buildings. No real character on the inside, especially since they replaced the yellow seats.

Tough to do indoor arenas of this size though, there’s only so much you can do. I’ve been to UBS, MSG, Prudential, the post-rennovation Nassau, Barclays, Ball, Enterprise, PPG, SAP, Wells Fargo, and Gila River and really only UBS stands out to me as being exceptional. I liked Enterprise too in STL but probably because I had access to the VIP level there when I went lol.

I’ve been to 14 of the current NHL rinks and the Saddledome by far seemed the weakest. Of course Arizona takes the cake but that’s a different scenario.

  14. Hutch25

Saddledome. It’s literally falling apart, plus if I recall correctly it’s the oldest rink in the league.

  15. shadesof3

I’d say Saddle Dome. Simply cause the place is falling apart. I can’t say Arizona as the arena looks really nice but it’s just small.

  16. Tricky_Passenger3931

The Saddledome is one of the biggest dumps in all of sports, never mind just hockey.

  17. tiggertom66

I won’t stand for the slander of mullet arena in this thread.

It’s a great *college* level stadium with great atmosphere due to the size.

That being said the coyotes should be embarrassed to be the secondary tenant in a college stadium

  18. I mean, that intro in Vegas where they get their little neon costumes on and bang the drums so the players can skate out of the giant dildo is pretty lame.

  19. RocketPhil89

Even worst, the team that dosent have a stadium, the Coyotes 😅

  20. Parkway-D

Saying the Shark Tank is the lamest is wild. Have you ever been to a game there? From the surrounding area of the arena (the walk from the bars at San Pedro Square to the Tank is top tier), to the intro with the shark head, it doesn’t get more exciting than that.

Did a Vegas fan make this post?

  21. jpatt05

Saddledome in Calgary is sad as fuck.

  22. flyfishies

Whatever dumb team you’re a fan of

  23. RacistJudicata

I’m just here to fight anybody who dares to say the Sack.

  24. tjsmi8694

I’ve heard San Jose is actually a great place to watch a game especially in the playoffs even if it’s kinda dated. I personally hate MSG but might just be a bias against New York but idc about how famous the place is it’s a concert arena not a sports arena

  25. DrexlSpivey84

Besides Arizona, Calgary hands down. Caught a game there on a trip and it is like a walking through a time portal straight into 1981. It’s honestly embarrassing.

  26. erock1119

I love the Shark Tank, and this is coming from a Kings fan. The low ceilings make it super loud in there. They’ve set records!

  27. Dis-Ducks-Fan-1130

    Ottawa

Btw the Shark Tank layout is actually pretty nice. Both levels empty out to the same concourse and it’s a large open area with high ceilings. Also the nose bleeds aren’t too far from the ice compared to other arenas.

  28. djackieunchaned

The capital one arena is nice inside but the area around it basically smells like pee 24/7

  29. joeh4384

I liked Joe Louis Arena more then the LCA. All these new pro stadiums and arenas are just soulless.

  30. beavers10

Vancouver. Dog shit arena. Packed in like sardines on the concourse. Tickets are way too expensive for the product on the ice. I live in Vancouver but went to the kraken/oilers game in Seattle last year. What a difference!

  31. BuzzOff2011

If you’re talking lame cause of how low energy it can be its Scotiabank arena

  32. Phreekyj101

Since when did hockey have ‘stadiums’?
