@Sénateurs d'Ottawa

LNH 2023

  1. It's been a long time coming. Pierre built and signed a great core. But most of all…Leafs suck.

  2. Ottawa should just be moved to a real market with real fans. Maybe another team Arizona or Texas.

  3. A Player….On Ottawa…A YOUNG player on Ottawa…Saying We are going to win and they WANT to be here…Weird Times Weird Weird Fantastic Times. I have a very short leash on my patience with Smith this season but have all the confidence in the young guys to get it done and with the Core Top 4 Defence set and locked up long term the time to shore up the backend is NOW. Im praying They and Korp can shut it down this year and years to come.

  4. Call me crazy but I would bet on them to end the Canadian team not winning curse before any of the other teams

  5. Calling it now. The top 3 of the Atlantic this year will be Toronto, Buffalo, and Ottawa in that order.

  6. To have our entire core locked up for 4+ seasons is great they just need to go out there and do it they are built for the playoffs on paper really hope they get there cause I think they'd be such a fun team to watch in the postseason

  7. Seeing as how many people doubt us, I really appreciate the confidence. This team is gonna be good for a long time.

  8. I’m an Oilers/Canucks fan but even I’m tired of seeing the sens being completely forgotten about all the time. I wish nothing but the best for that team, really hope they can make a playoff spot this time around

  9. Sanderson, Stutzle and Tarasenko are determined to end Ottawa's playoff drought. I like to hear that and I really hope they make a difference this year. From a fan who has Ottawa as his 3rd favorite Canadian team, GO SENS GO!!

  10. I was always curious when the Sens joined the NHL how many of the fans in the greater Ottawa area remained either Toronto or Habs fans given the city is right smack in the middle of the other two, who also happen to be 2 of the Original-6, therefore we're talking about the original fanbases in all of hockey so it musta been tough to just let go of those generational allegiances just because of geography???

  11. I love the Sens so I'm super happy to see they've locked down a solid core. Here's hoping we get a playoff run this year so that the team looks appealing enough for future free agents.

  12. If the Sens played every team like the play the Leafs they'd win the Cup. They have the guys, they have the D, now they have the goaltending. Put that together and I can see both Ottawa and Buffalo making the playoffs

  13. Also, didn't even mention Claude Giroux! Who I think is still a great player. Does Ottawa make the playoffs this year? How far do they get?

  14. Yessir already took the sens to make playoffs (+125) and a sprinkle on them to win the Atlantic (+1000)

  15. I don’t know anything about the ‘24 draft class but another high end prospect wouldn’t hurt

  16. Yeah Ottowa are major underdogs this year, and I think they like the idea of proving some people wrong.

  17. okay fine oilers/sens final this year to break the curse then please let my red wings sit at the table

  18. Ottawa has some really nice forwards (though I think you've overrated a few here) but I really don't see their defense being stacked. Sanderson is a fine young player, but he's not hte stud everyone wants to annoint him as yet (his contract is a gamble, but odds are a smart one with a rising cap). Chabot hasn't been very good on his big deal. Zub had a bit of a breakout season 2 years ago and came back to earth a bit last year. Brannstrom hasn't really shown much progress considering what expectations were/are for him. Chrychrun might be their best if he can stay healthy. They should be better, and some guys will no doubt grow, but they I think people need to temper expectations a bit. Their only really solid defensive player among the 6 is Hamonic and his best days are well behind him. All this said, I am not an Ottawa fan, but I have nothing against them either; I hope they make the playoffs.
