    So in Johnny's opinion, 1st overall pick Ryan Nugent Hopkins who had 104 pts is not a star, but Nylander with 87 pts and Tavares with 80 pts is?

    Unless the leaf's move Nylander which would open up a spot for him then maybe it makes sense. They could get under the cap a maybe upgrade the defence with size. Sign Kane Jan 1 for lower cap hit. It also lets us see if Bertuzzi/Domi/Klingberg get us closer to being a more balanced team.

    Bertuzzi and Domi are NOT tough like everyone think. They’re going to act tough because they have Reaves. But they’re not gonna be the toughest team in the league I don’t even care of Reaves is the toughest guy with the gloves off. And this has nothing to do with this video but this fool at work Who is a Rangers fan keeps poking about this because I’m a Flyers fan. And they are going to be once again one of the toughest teams in the league when it comes to violence. I can’t wait to watch the leafs fall again. They are a shit show even with all the talent they got. Choke worse than Flyers do.

    Not wanting to tamp down on things, but that polishing procedure he underwent requires a lot of recovery time & very few hockey players who've had it done, came back & were highly effective. Hopefully Kane will be an exception, but I don't see him being a force this season. I hope I'm wrong & he's good to go.

    .I'm a Leaf fan …since 1982….and I do NOT want my team to sign Kane. He's washed, wasn't good in NY, and he's coming off Hip surgery….which is a death sentence for your career. No player is rarely the same after it….huge PASS

    i can't see Kane playing in Canada, ever. unless he had no other choice and it was his only way to stay in the league. which is a shame bc him in Edmonton w those guys would be crazy and he would get a ton of free stats to pad his already really nice career numbers, plus he'd get playoff opportunities.

    as for Toronto being 'close' to Buffalo, no not anymore. after the whole thing the last couple years and Trudeau, that border is now huge and actually means something. the economics are also no longer in Canada's favor.
