@Rangers de New York

    If he can succeed at RW that’ll be major for this team

    It seems a little light for an NHL winger, but he’s still young and he knows his capabilities and weight class better than some schlub on the interwebs like me.

    But him wanting to play left and right wing? Yasssss.

    Feels like you should weigh either 420 or 69 lbs, nothing else has a place in hockey

    He knows there’s room on the right side, and it’s smart of him to plant the seed early, but I’d be a little surprised to see him there, especially as a rookie.

    Off-wing is typically reserved for elite skill. There are a few exceptions, like Zach Hyman, but it’s rare. Even then, it’s mostly Russians, as they’re more accustomed to playing that way (Panarin, Kucherov, Tarasenko.)

    A more likely outcome is an eventual trade of one of our young LW, but only if Othmann plays well enough out of the gate to force a tough decision.
