Il a terminé son ELC et Ottawa n’a pas de place pour un accord de transition au niveau de Byram. À mes yeux, il a un tir très vif, même déséquilibré, et un grand sens pour trouver les points faibles sur la glace. Je n’ai pas été impressionné par son coup de patin, mais à 3 min 45 s, il donne du fil à retordre à Girard, Byram et Newhook, alors peut-être qu’il a simplement l’air plus lent qu’il ne l’est. Il faudrait renvoyer de vrais atouts, mais je pense que la valeur d’une jeune menace derrière MacKinnon, avec notre corps d’ailiers, est énorme.

I really don’t think he does, we can’t keep him long term when he needs a raise, we can’t afford to trade prospects for a developing player, we can’t afford to trade any of our D core because injuries are a concern.
I don’t think the avs need to make any major moves unless it looks like Landy is headed towards retirement.
Assets? Now that’s a word I have not heard in a long time.
He’s young, understands the game really well, and could grow into a 2C role pretty quickly. I watched him at North Dakota and he was usually the best player on the ice by a wide margin. The problem is of course the money and for that reason, the Avs are out.
We likely don’t have the assets to get him, and definitely not the cap space. If this came up a few months ago, it might’ve been a possibility, but at the point the roster, outside of a potential backup goalie, is pretty much set.
We don’t have assets Ottawa will want, unless you’re suggesting trading Bo for him, which is a hard no from me.
He absolutely does if we had the assets to give up. Which we don’t.
