@Penguins de Pittsburgh

Interesting. I like this idea of a rotation, and I love having Rupper as part of the team. Dude’s top notch.

Wish it was just Borque. I find Colby pretty annoying and Rupp to be both boring and an old boys club moron with more-than-questionable values. [Remember when he was the only person in hockey defending Tony DeAngelo?](https://twitter.com/Rupper17/status/1420524026452189192?t=qxl14cK7J8eRWUmxZbW2Vg&s=19)

    >Just a friendly reminder that every teammate of Tony DeAngelo that I have ever spoken to, thoroughly enjoyed him as a teammate! Some people can’t help themselves in trying to vilify him to fit their agenda. Lets move on now…

He also thought the Pens should have gone after TDA when it was looking like Karlsson wasn’t going to get done. Dude loves him for some reason, which is a pretty big red flag considering how toxic he is.

I take it Rob King is out? That’s disappointing

    Jay’s Telestration lives

  5. XGuiltyofBeingMikeX

Even FSG is too afraid of Jay to ever move him.

Colby is a frequent on Barstool Sports’ Spittin’ Chiclets and Rupp is a host on Pat McAfee’s That’s Hockey Talk.

So clearly an effort by the Penguins to tap that younger Gen podcast/youtube market.

Let’s see if it pays off.

Good choices but also crying about no more Bob

  8. ODMtesseract

So is an in-game analyst the official term for colour commentator?

  9. Creasy007

    TELESTRATE ME, BABY!!

I’ve been in excited anxiety awaiting to see if Jay was gonna stick around or not. I’m pumped.

Seems like they’re going with the Pirates approach when it comes to color commentators. I hope this is the only thing that they have in common with the Pirates.

Man, if you went with one, any of these choices are amazing. But all three? Sweeeeeeet!

  12. thegreatgobert2

I wonder if this will affect that’s hockey talk because I like rupp on there

  13. Kineada11

So who’s going to do color on radio when Bourque’s on television?

  14. tinatalker

So Potash in the studio with Jay?

And is Hailey Hunter the one behind tiny microphone questions?
