Does anyone read the comments? Many have said it, but please mic the reporters so we know what the questions are. Otherwise, it's a guessing game as to who they're talking about.
Perhaps hang about 4 microphones from ceiling to pick up ambient room noise — and just turn them on before press conference.
Radio studios do this, so a bit of background noise is picked up and included in live mix, in addition to what the hosts are saying into the mics.
This would be incredibly helpful so we, the audience, can hear what reporters are saying. Sometimes the players/coaches responses don't make as much sense without hearing the question.
Installing a few mics on ceiling might be better solution than having reporters pass around a mic, which would take up too much time. Also it may not be practical to give every reporter a mic.
