3 of the bottom 4 teams from the New York area, people don’t like booze over there or what?

I’ve been to enough Bruins and Boston sporting events to really question the legitimacy of this very official looking scientific study.

I bring down the average, it’s either go to a Leafs game or drink. You can’t do both at $18/beer

CBJ punching above their weight!!
Gruz420
Wait til we get to the conference finals.

What jumped out to me is Chicago barely drinking less than us yet spending over $20 less than us
Big_Albatross_3050
I’m pretty sure I blacked out after Tavares scored in Game 6 of the 1st round as well as midway through game 1, so this data probably tracks

New York teams should be much, much higher ???
AvecFromage
It’s because Leafs games are priced so high, they register in my brain as a luxury outing. You’re already $200+ in the hole for a ticket, might as well spend another $60 and enjoy yourself.

I can’t imagine Montreal being that low on the list. That whole city is a horny, drunk, mess of good times, and I can’t imagine hockey would inspire better behaviour.

$60 for 4 drinks? These must be in-arena sales right?
2BRacin
$58.50 is two drinks at Scotia Club not 3.9

I’ve been to a Nashville game. That is NOT an accurate number.
Plus, Calgary has the best pregame beer prices in the league. If you’re not half cut by puck drop, you have failed as a Flames fan.

I’m above average
WhoJustShat
That’s about 3 beers now
D20_Buster
Is this in usd or loonies?
thevoiceinsidemyhead
no way montreal is this low
Shifty012
Teams with less than 3 how you dividing those up? 3 drinks, 1 each period. It just makes sense.
sokocanuck
MSG is all hype
nzenglein
Here in Maple leaf gardens that would be 3 or 4 beers lol
nwarrior89
I think this just shows how expensive the alcohol is at Leafs games
ngooner85
Where this thing falls apart is the discrepancy between Calgary and Edmonton. Frankly, the whole thing is garbage.
