1. Most likely lines….
    Skinner Thompson Tuch
    Peterka Cozens Kullich or Rosen
    Greenway Middelstadt Olofsson
    Girgenson Krebs Okposso
    Spare- Jost
    Agree on D lines
    Levi & UPL goalies
    My forward lines……
    Skinner Thompson Tuch
    Perterka Cozens Rosen
    Greenway Middelstadt Kullich
    Kozak Krebs Okposso
    Spare- Girgenson
    Jost gets waived to Rochester
Olofsson will get traded before the season starts because he is a Defensive liability!
Kozak makes the team to help improve the PK
Comrie waived or traded to Colorado
    13 forwards and 8 Defenceman
Remember Greenway was hurt in his first few weeks as a Sabres, so he will be much better this season .
If you try and waive UPL he will get claimed !!
    Thanks for the video.

  2. Move Krebs to the wing on 3rd line with Mitts centering and Oloffson on the other wing, Krebs almost had 30 points last year playing with the 4th line grinders, give him linemates he can rely on to score or pass the puck to him in the right spots and he will shine like he was supposed to when he got here, let Kulich/Rosen get a sheltered role in Jack Quinn's spot, next to Cozens & JJP, until Quinn gets back and then we can go from there. Greenway-Girgensons-Okposo w/ Jost rotating in, is a good 4th line especially if Granato can get Greenway back to his 20-21 form, feel there is more to give there with Greenway than what we saw last year

  3. Greenway was hurt last year. Maybe we should see what the coach can get from him thru training camp / preseason. Also, movie Cozens to the 3rd line? Also… you wanna risk losing UPL for nothing by sending him thru waivers to Rochester?

  4. Not sure sabres can make playoffs with their forwards, there was 0 upgrade ,along with inexperienced goalies.Think Adams messed up not signing a real good RW to replace Quinn

  5. No way Mitts gets #1 C position over TT.
    Skins, Tage, Tuch
    JJ , Cozens , Kulich
    Krebs , Mitts , Ollie
    Girgs , Jost , Greenway
    Extra- Okposo
Defense the same pairings. Along with Goalies

Once Quinn gets healthy move out Ollie. Quinn top 6 . Move up Jiri to with Krebs, Mitts

  6. I think the hardest part of this. Injuries!… I expect Kulich will get a shot with the big club at some point this year if only because someone will always be hurt. I still expect a trade or two before the start of the season.. (probably once the injury bug hits a few others..) because when you look at this team.. Levi is the only goalie that can be freely sent down.. the other two have to pass through waivers. I can’t see them keeping 3 goalies all year unless one of them goes down in pre-season. You also still have Stillman and Bryson on Defense who have to go through waivers to go down too… and at some point.. Quinn will be back in a few months… Time will tell.. I think they should move Joki and Victor Olofsson.. and UPL… but again… Injuries can change the rules.. Hell, Savoie alone with his injury may change the plans a bit..

  7. Martin Jones will be available when the Leafs waive him after training camp. He’d be a decent backup.

  8. I agree, October is the best month for sports. College Football, NFL, NHL, MLB Playoffs. There's a game every night worth watching.

  9. Aside from the Savoie injury, I wouldn’t look too much into the outcome of that game. The Sabres sat Rosen and Kulich and they still outshot the Pens. Pittsburghs goalie played very well and Ratzlaff played better than he did in his first game. So aside from Savoie, I think there was a lot to be excited about and the kids looked great.

  10. For me, night One would look like this:
    1-Skinner-Tage-Tuch
    2-Krebs-Mittlestadt-Kulich
    3-Peterka-Cozens-Olofsson
    4-Girgenenson-Jost-Okposo

I’d swap Olofsson for Rosen, but if we bench Olofsson, as it stands right now, we’d lose any trade value he may have right now.

  11. There is a back up plan if Adams & Granato feel that none of the kids are ready for the NHL …Patrick Kane. Sign Kane ( Jost is spare forward) and when Jack Quinn comes back in Jan/ Feb , trade Olofsson then .
I think there is a 2% chance of this happening , as I feel there will be a very intense & interesting battle amongest Savoie( injuried??) Kullich, Rosen & Rousek to fill Quinns spot .

  12. Mittestadt is a good fill in but he I don't think he's a top center. I don't like the idea of cutting Thompson and Cozen time. They don't deserve it. I think when Quinn gets back Krebs and Mittestadt on the third and move Olofsson. Use the new guy for injuries

  13. I don't see Greenway not playing since he has a history with the coach.
