John, I really enjoyed yours and Evan's insight on the Avalanche's season and future.
Georgie can play 62 games again, but the issue is how many in a row? At one point last year he did 12 in a row & that's too much. Frankie out hurt them but also Bednar not trusting Jojo or Justus. Coach has been guilty of overplaying top guys like Toews, MacK, & Mikko, even JTC 20m a night, lol. This is what zapped some of their mojo & batteries so come playoffs they were already spent. JTC was done at TDL. Hopefully the skating depth is much deeper, but still gotta worry about goalie. The goal is making sure #40 gets enough rest during the reg season to be at his peak come playoffs.
There's rumors about the scope of Manson's injury, which could affect the D-core. Honestly, trade Girard and keep Toews. If I'm Toews I veto a trade to the Nucks like the thumbnail lol 😂
