The young and upcoming players need this kind of reality check. NHL is not like the minors in the slightest. Everybody is far more capable, faster, and bigger. Plays happen and break apart so fast.
Keep letting them play the preseason games . You only get better playing with the best.

Oh man. Here we go again. Coach Tocchet won't like this. Send all, or most of these Abby guys back down, IMMEDIATELY. Toch needs to get his real NHL squad prepared with as much prep time as he can find to get them ready for the regular season. Coaching staff can't afford to dither around with icing a bunch of farm guys in preseason games, most of whom are not ready for prime time.

LET HOPE , not ANY of these lousy "Canucks" players EVER see any meaningful ice time ever again at the professional level . its evidently clear that amateur beer league is ALL these players are able to strive for.. pathetic effort regardless of a stacked flames team. i HONESTLY believe my beer league team could have put up a better fight then this.. That being said, the reffeing was ABSALUTLY atrocious in the 1st period… not that it wouldn't have made a difference in this piss poor effort . its jut unbelievable how bad it can be considering its only ONE PRE SEASONE GAME IN? EEK!
