I dont think he has a bad attitude, he is just very relaxed and confident as a person and that can easily come across as being arrogant and lazy

Watched the interview and his English is a little spotty, so I don’t think he meant that he necessarily had a BAD attitude last year, just that he had the wrong attitude with regards to competing at training camp. It’s a minor detail, but just in case anyone comes in here and only reads the headline, it’s an important distinction.

With that being said, I can definitely tell the difference between last year and this year for him. He seems to get it now.

He needs to show urgency on the ice.

Holy God those are some terrible ads, but good read beyond that.

I don’t have any worries about Eddy. We have Mo and Wally. He doesn’t have to come in and be a hero, just play his game it will naturally happen because he has a ton of talent and skill. But it’s good to hear that he is in a better head space now and hopefully it translates on the ice.

he had way too many turnovers and questionable plays in the game yesterday. talent is there his mental side is still far away. I think thats what Mo is trying to push as well.

He is a kid working on taking a huge step up to the top league in the world. He’ll get there but Yzerman isn’t good to rush him as that pretty much never works out.

I like how he said Larkin and Seider were in his ear to keep up the intensity… only wish we had some vets doing that to Mantha and AA. Things might have turned out different for those two in Hockeytown.
