Fun game. Cooley is going to be an amazing player and Maccelli is no slouch. Arena lighting was darker than normal but gave the game an old time hockey look. Due to blackouts it was the first Coyotes game I have watched since my last a GRA.
As a kings fan, the sky is falling

i had my doubts at first , but the rod laver arena looks like an excellent venue , and the ice looked good , full arena , little dark in some areas , but the game was good , back and forth right to the end . have to say the fight was comical ,almost scripted , cooley's goal was amazing , as good as orr's , that's saying something. what i don't understand is why the canadian anthem was not played , just the u.s. and australian anthems played . , nor was there was a canadian flag next to the u.s. and australian and new zealand flag ?this i do not understand ..

It was an awesome atmosphere there! I brought a mate with me that had never watched hockey before and he loved it. A lot of jersey representation too which was great to see.
Hoping the NHL does it again next year too
I was there, I have some stuff from the game I want to send you. It was so much fun, even though I don't like either team, there were players I was in awe to see. Amazing to see arvidsson score that goal and be so close to NHL players, having only ever seen SHL and allsvenskan games before
Feeling good with the 'Yotes this year! If they play like this, we are going to have a good season, and shows we still belong in the desert!
As a Wild fan, I was rooting for the Kings to win and boy did they delivered. I am really excited for the season.
I was at the game and it was really good. I was wearing my #29 Gino Odjick jersey which got some nice comments from fellow Canucks fans. It was awesome to have friendly chats with so many different people wearing their respective team jersies. Please come back to Australia NHL!
