Bummed for both but especially mazur really thought he was gonna be a call up kinda guy when the injuries started coming. Hopefully doesn’t hurt his development too much.

When I said I wanted Mazur to be a « Bertuzzi-esque » player this isn’t what I meant
Mazur took a knee-on-knee in the last ~5min of the 1st period against Dallas in the prospect tourney, so not surprised here.
So excited to see Mazur regularly in the Winged Wheel someday! Hope he has a swift and thorough recovery. I feel awful for Luff, guy can’t catch a break it seems.
Ok, NHL is a joke with this shit, just say wtf his injury is, clown league.
Wasn’t expecting this. I figured it couldn’t be that terrible if Mazur was walking on it without a brace and just ice and Luff was also just iced up, but they must not have gotten a team doctor opinion until they got back to Detroit.
At the very least, Mazur wasn’t using one of the scooters Pysyk was on last season, so hopefully it’s weeks and not like… an entire season.
I’m thinking #43 is now cursed to have leg injuries. And Luff is just cursed.
