  1. Toronto(media, fans) treatment of John Tavares is the reason top players don't want to go to Toronto.

  2. The answer is 100% yes. The guy is slow. I'm not a leaf's fan but wouldn't you rather trade his contract for two 4 million dollar defenseman?

  3. Tavares center Toronto third line between Knies and Jarnkrok? Nylander center second line between Domi and Robertson? Matthews center first line between Bertuzzi and Marner?

  4. Sorry, how does a guy get wooed here for $11 mil as your top centre get bumped down to third line in a handful of years? Toronto loves to throw money around.

  5. 3rd line 11M center and Kampf at 2.4M on the 4th…complete joke!! Wish JT had a 5 year contract not 7…Exactly why Doofy is out of here. It won't last either way, Willy and JT will end on the 2nd line.

  6. Should buy out JT contract – let him enjoy retirement & his family. Great guys but his 11mil contract is horrible for the leafs success – not the player hurts the leafs – just his contract.

  7. Team is older and worse with cheap rejects and cheap rookies. Same problems for years on end no relief in sight. With the added bonus of most expensive tickets anywhere. Enjoy
