The UO hockey team is supposed to have their first game of the season (a home game) here on Friday and the rink is STILL closed with absolutely no updates. I’m frustrated enough as a figure skater but I can’t imagine having to play a D1 hockey game having barely practiced as a team beforehand (because if they’ve had any ice at all, it’s been by driving 2 hours one way to Portland). That is, if the rink is even open by then. The incompetence of this ownership is something else lol
