I would hope that Hronek is a top 4 dman..
Hopefully, Hronek will continue this once the games mean something. Vancouver gave up quite a bit to trade for him.

On Hronek; with how many things go wrong with this team I think it’s more of a sigh of relief that yes this Dman that management paid assets to acquire is in fact a top 4 caliber player and not a fist bump. We actually have a chance this year to not be a complete dumpster fire when Hughes isn’t on the ice which will be a first in a long while.
On Bains… honestly I think he should make the team in lieu of Podkolzin. I think Podz needs to go develop and dominate in the AHL which is the actual developmental league, not the NHL even though we keep letting top prospects flounder there. I just don’t see a way based on his history for Podz to just ‘figure it out’ if he stays in the NHL and plays 12-14 mins a night on the 3rd or 4th line with no PP or PK time.
