Huska seems to identify every major issue. I wouldn’t be worried right now.

It’s almost like the team is trying to learn a new system.

    Both offensive and defensive.

How awesome to hear a coach take responsibility. Sutter never did and never would admit being wrong and own his mistakes. Huska acknowledges that even if everyones energy levels and GAF/60 were below 50% to begin with, his decision to challenge was not the right call and eventually led to the game being tied

I would run through a fucking wall for this man

Huska is more and more showing that he DAWG in him. He’s communicating on whats actually happening with the team, he’s seemly very clear on his expectations from his players, he’s taking responsibility for the team and their results (admitting when he’s wrong to boot), like gawd damn this is night and day from Sutter. I actually am starting to feel hope again…

Not to mention it is clear that he is genuinely implementing new systems to get the issues fixed that are plaguing this team. Obviously it’s gonna take time and when you’re getting your team to learn new offensive and defensive systems that’s a total overhaul. But I cannot stress enough how happy I am to see someone who isn’t a dinosaur leading this team with genuinely fresh approaches, and a calm, supportive presence. I think he’ll do wonders for this team both in terms of production and great for the room/morale
