« Aujourd’hui, nous avons serré Chris dans nos bras pour la dernière fois et lui avons dit au revoir alors qu’il allait offrir la vie à quatre personnes en faisant don de ses reins, de son foie et de ses poumons. Nous sommes profondément brisés et profondément fiers. Dans la vie et dans la mort, Chris n’a jamais cessé de donner. . Nous avançons avec sa lumière qui nous guide.
Today we hugged Chris for the last time and said goodbye as he went to give four people the gift of life by donating his kidneys, liver and lungs. We are deeply broken and deeply proud. In life and in death, Chris never stopped giving. We walk forward with his light guiding us. pic.twitter.com/hqquCUGBBW

Not all heroes wear capes😢🫡 May the afterlife be kind to you grab your skates and stick and hit the pond in the sky
Rest in peace Chris
RIP Snowy, what a legend
They should put him up in the rafters
RIP Chris. Hero in life and a hero in death.
4 years.
Chris battled this debilitating disease for 4 fucking years.
Most of us call in sick when we have a bum tum. This warrior showed up everyday to a job he loved. Truly a strong and inspirational human being.
Thank you Chris for everything you’ve done for this organization.
Truly forever a flame
#SnowInTheRafters.
(Now that it’s final, I’m copy and pasting my comment to the original news post again here. Because it only rings even more true with such a large donation from the NHLPA to his gofundme. He truly touched everyone he came into contact with, most of us can only hope to be a quarter of the human that Chris was. Forever a flame. Forever in all our hearts)
#snowday should be like Jackie Robinson day in the MLB he did so much for everyone
So sad, but what an incredible way to gift a few people.
So sad. RIP Chris. #Snowystrong
RIP Chris. You are an inspiration to us all.
Rip Chris
Rip Chris. You are such an inspiration to all of us.
🙏🏾
So fucking sad. ALS is such an evil disease and Snowy battled right to the end. RIP
RIP Snowy.
Still being a stand up dude in passing by donating organs. I wish strength to the family and those close with him.
Have an uncle in the midst of ALS right now. This one hurts pretty bad. RIP snowy, my heart is with kelsie and their kids today.
RIP Chris. I hope you’re reunited with your family one day.
#snowintherafters
What a gift it was, and is, to have Chris Snow be a part of our Flames. He taught me a lot, not just about ALS, but also about perseverance and strength.
I’m grateful for his influence and I wish his family comfort, and I hope the Flames can make a deep run this year with the help of his tireless work, and in his honour.
RIP Snowy
RIP Chris!!! Let’s put him in the rafters. So fucking incredible how he lived after his diagnosis!
This man deserves to be immortalized not only in the dome, but in Calgary as a whole. Build a statue or something of him on the stampede grounds
Seeing that photo of him with his family made me cry. God bless him and his family
What a wonderful ending to a very sad story, thank you so much for thinking of others at this time and donating Chris’s organs. ❤️
Such a damn shame. rest in power snowy, you’re such a strong and inspiring person
#snowintherafters cmon calgary, make it happen
RIP to an absolute inspiration. Rafter treatment is necessary.
What an amazing man. Losing your dad so young is so tough but those kids will see how amazing of an impact he left til his very last heart beat.
RIP to such an inspiring individual
RIP to a great man. Love from oil country.
People like Chris remind me to live life better. Soak up every moment, surround myself with loving company, and never recklessly earmark for a future that may never come. Rest in peace Chris, peace to his family, and thank you for the countless lives you made better with how ferociously you lived.
May he live on in the 4 lives he gave in donating his organs. He has touched so many with his time fighting ALS. He is an inspiration to us all with his determination, positivity, and should be honored at the stadium.
Fought one hell of a fight Chris, this Flames fan is very proud of you. Rest easy, sir.
Condolences to the family.
