Derek Lalonde said Robby Fabbri (upper body) may be able to practice tomorrow, and if not, soon after. Took him out tonight as a precaution
I think a dude’s hand could be removed from his body’s and the coach would say it’s day to day and he left the game due to an abundance of caution.
That’s good newsy
Good to hear … we need him to be ready for his next injury.
It cracks me up that coaches are habitually vague about obvious injuries when the season hasn’t even started as if anyone anywhere could somehow use that information.
A dude could get hit in the face and leave 5 teeth on the ice on national TV and they’d still say « upper body injury ».
Did anyone see the hit or play that could have caused it?
The way he was holding his arm into his side suggested shoulder injury to me. But if he hurt his hand, he may have just been holding it close to protect it.
Either way I am just glad that it doesn’t sound too bad and that the wings have more than enough depth to be Ok with a few injuries like this
Lol, wouldn’t be hockey season if Fabbri wasn’t hurt.
Fabbri hurt, it’s all you need to see. When he’s back on the ice I’ll believe them that it’s not a big deal.
Prediction: Fabbri won’t be re-signed. He’ll sign a league minimum with a contender next year and win the Cup, and we’ll all be happy for him.
