I much prefer Adam Ernie and Ganger over Brandon Sutter at this point. Sutter just seems way too slow for the NHL speed.
Sutter, Lavoie and Pederson all haven't really impressed me tbh. None of them have shown " this is my spot" in desperation. And Xavier has been dead quiet. I can now see why the Oilers prospects rank almost dead last
This is an absolutely brutal preseason! The system sucks, the playing is uninspired and in general none of this is giving me any sense of hope for the beginning of the regular season!
Pederson had impressed me with being in a top 6 role vs the top flames line and Canucks line for some games he look steady

Sutter was released from his PTO (might have been his decision to ask for a release, don't know what went down leading up to the release) and has called it a career, so that's one less guy we have to worry about.
Up here in Edmonton, we got our first official coat of frost this morning, so it shouldn't be long before people start booking appointments to have their vehicle tires changed from season to winter.
