Ugh so we run it back or go through 5 plus years of misery. Just what I needed to see on a Monday morning.

The Jets don’t need a rebuild. They’re in this strange logjam of high level prospects and not enough space to fill them. That’s honestly better than having few prospects and a team full of aging veterans on long term deals.
Think about how bad a team like San Jose or Philly is right now. Then think about how bad Boston Tampa and Pittsburgh are going to be in the next 5 years

The problem with this article is that we have a season to still play, so the conclusion is still open.

Can’t say I disagree with this article at least for the most part, no one really wants a full tear down and rebuild cause yeah those can drag on forever until you eventually build something capable of a run and even then you still aren’t guaranteed success.
Retooling is fine which we have done to a degree, see what happens with Helle/55 and then go from there, we aren’t in that bad of a position all things considered

The Jets will be contenders again if Perfetti turns into an elite #1 C, Scheifele plays a hard 2 way game, Ehler’s becomes bullet proof, and Stanley plays like Byfuglien.

Oh well…
Is the article just a pic of Helle?
