Pretty surprised by how many games Suzuki line is playing

  3. Dank_Bubu

Does Slaf have any synergy with Dach ?

  4. Bohmer

Looks like a full regular season lineup minus Matheson. We will probably lose this one too if I had to guess.

  5. FBR_MC

Babe wake up, the annual Anderson on the Suzuki-Caufield line experiment that won’t work just dropped.

  6. infinis

Why would you put a twitter link that posts a NHL link?

Norlinder is really getting the opportunity to make the team.

How did Norlinder do when he played? It seems to me that management is giving him a chance to cause a suprise and make the team. If you consider Savard, Matheson and Guhle as locks, there seems to be a fight between Harris, Xhekaj, Kovacevic, Barron, Norlinder, Lindstrom for the last three spots + 7D.

I think Kovacevic has a slight advantage because of his size and the fact he’s a RD. Barron probably gets sent to Laval. I have a feeling Xhekaj could be sent down to Laval as well. If that’s the case, how to you feel with the following pairs?

    Guhle – Matheson

    Harris – Savard

    Norlinder – Kovacevic

    Lindstrom

You’d have Matheson and Norlinder playing PP. I know Matheson would play on his off side, but with his skating and play style it could work. If I remember right, he likes to skate the puck out anyway. Guhle is also mobile enough to cover him, I think it could work.

Very happy to see Slaf and Dach continue to be paired. I think they need to staple Slaf to Dach’s wing this season and we’ll see some great thing. I do think Slaf-Dach-Caufield could be really fun too if they decide to break up Caufield/Suzuki at some point.

  10. sympnoia

Why on earth is norlinder on the first pair?

  11. bcgrappler

My guess is ylonen gets waived.

Maybe he gets claimed, but he seems like a guy that spends 2 seasons up and down in 3 orgs and heads back to have a very respectable career in Europe.

He has more offensive talent then Lukas Vejdemo, or Jacob De La Rose, but I don’t see him with any more on ice impact.

  12. LesHeh

Maybe they put some effort in tonight?

They’ve looked horrible so far. Suzuki the other night in particular looked awful.

  13. garbanzo32

No Matheson and no Guhle makes Homer go something something…

  14. lucassumner

Is matheson injured? He was supposed to play last week but he got subbed out by guhle last second

  15. The___Colonel

I’m happy to see Heineman. I really think he is make or break tonight. He brought such a good energy the last game. Has a killer shot and some good transitional ability. Keeps his head up. Hoping the best for him tonight

    Say on twitter you cowards

I’ve been following the Montreal Canadiens, and let me tell you, they’ve got a tremendous lineup. Fantastic players, strong team spirit – it’s a winning combination. I know a winner when I see one, and the Canadiens are doing a tremendous job. Great job, Montreal!

  18. justodea

Wonder if mailloux will get some pp time

  19. hexsealedfusion

So this is pretty close to the game 1 lineup then

Can we just abolish links to twitter when the tweet itself is just a link to the actual article? Just share the canadiens.com page and fuck Musk.
