Thank god that’s over, don’t think I could take another Bedard name drop with “the great ones”
JV kostin and burgers looked awesome together. That’s what I will take away from this. And JT is for sure the 2C
Everytime I watch Copp play I just think of the stick poking meme. Do something.
Chyron on ESPN: Generational Talent Scores First NHL Goal.
I’m excited for Bedard too but the way those announcers talked about him you’d think he has never made a mistake in a hockey game before and that every shot he takes is a 90% chance of a goal like sheesh let the kid play
Preseason blah blah but that was not a great game for the guys in white
That’s the first game where Danielson didn’t shine, really hope we get to see him pop off again before preseason ends. I thought Johansson had a really good game
Rough night for a lot of guys. Danielson didn’t do much. Soderblom has got to figure out how to handle a puck. Our bottom 4 defensemen were all pretty meh. And Copp, Perron and Rasmussen didn’t do anything.
Only reason I care is because they actually looked decent in the 1st period. What did they have, 14 shots on goal? And we got 6 the rest of the game?
I don’t think Danielson is ready just yet. Still want to see one more game with a fuller lineup, but juniors I think is very likely the best option.
The wings b squad didn’t let bedard score. I’m excited to see what bedard does but that was too much
Bergs looked great tonight. That’s my take.
Well boys, we played like shit. Good news is we were missing 80% of our team so hopefully we don’t see a game like that again. Fingers crossed. Veleno had a great game, I thought berggren did too. Danielson had his worse game so far, but I still thought he played OK.
So yeah, lets just swap Copp with JT with Ras and Perron and pretend that tonight never happened.
Also JFV upgraded his shot to guided missile apparently so that’s cool.
Never seen a team work so hard to beat our C-team and a tryout goalie. Thank God they had The Great Connor Bedard.
Watching the Blackhawks broadcast was unbearable. That dude never shut up about Bedard and the color commentator was a complete dip.
Some hoser posted the Bedard goal over ar /r/hockey …
that was the best I’ve seen out of Berggren and Veleno so far. Veleno was all over the defensive zone and looked dangerous. Berggren played with way more confidence and possessed the puck well.
Doucet showed a bit of playmaking tonight. lots of subtle passes and always on the tape. he’s got potential.
Wallinder once again stood out to me. his stick is so active and he plays huge. hes got sneaky offensive upside too.
Holl had a couple really bad plays. bad blind passes to nobody in particular. I don’t think he’s very good and could be the one who gets bumped if Edvinsson is outplaying GR.
I really want Soderblom to make the team but I don’t know if there’s room. I don’t think he’s gonna beat either Fischer or Sprong at this point.
You’d think Bedard is the only player on the ice at any given time. Jesus fucking Christ.
I just played 7 games of volleyball for playoffs and I am deceased
