Could they make Lane Hutson change position?

    Caufield – Suzuki – Hutson

I don’t think he’ll be a 1D or even a top pairing D, personally, but if he can QB the powerplay to not-atrocious status and bring in secondary scoring from the blueline, he’ll be a very valuable 3/4D, so long as he gets a defensively-sound partner (à la Reinbacher).

Please leave him at D if only to ensure that he is on the power play transitioning the puck without doing that stupid fucking backwards, sling-shot pass only to lose the puck before the blue line.

I’m not sure this quote is implying he should be a forward. The quote is implying whether Hutson is going to be his own meta.

    Gaudreau or…Marner.

When I’ve seen him play, he’s reminded me of Mitch Marner quite a bit.

He’s really bringing *his game* to *the game*. There are no positions for this guy, he’s simply a hockey player. He’s the perfect guy for Marty.

Isn’t Erik Karlsson a super quick, shifty, and dynamic offensive D? Haven’t really seen too much of him but remember him being a beast with the Sens. Was always surprised Hutson isn’t compared to him. Maybe it’s the size.
