I still think duchy should get the chance to play line 2 with benn and johnston. Then if stankoven can continue playing like this, we could give him a look at the 3rd line with seguin and Dad.
I watched the guys practice yesterday. It was cool seeing them all up close, but I was watching Lian Bischel a lot. That guy is already Hakkanpa’s size at 19, his development will be interesting.
Alright Joey first off great video, great work. I know it’s not necessarily on topic, but I was curious about your thoughts on how seggy and Benn have evolved? Obviously they aren’t as fast and not really getting points like they used to, but they seem to be making plays off the score sheets. I remember years ago watching Seguin, he’d beat the opponent with speed and his signature onetimer from the edge of the face off circle. Now he seems to be taking a more aggressive/physical approach to the game, matched with his ability to get the puck tape to tape in any situation. With benn I never know what to expect, last season was incredible, it was almost like watching his younger years, but obviously with a lot less speed. Should we expect to see more of a play maker approach from seggy again, and perhaps more of the benn-aissance?
The Dallas Stars look pretty sharp in preseason hopefully they have an even better regular season than last year. Jake Oettinger will probably be Goalie 1 again this year, he should learn from his experience last season. Hopefully we are stronger defensively this season that was one of the problems last season give Jake some help in the back.
Sam Steel is a sleeper pick. He looked super good during the Arizona pre season game. I’m in his camp and pulling hard for him to make the cut.
