He should play over Robertson for sure.
He needs to stay with team. Play with Knies and ty Robertson. Get some youth in team again.
Fraser Minten looks like he can offer something special at 3C.. Nylander fits on the wing

I say no…send him back to junior and let him develop further
What he has done is play very well for a 19 year old and found chemistry with another very promising young prospect in 20 year old Matthew Knies. But the Leafs need to think long and hard before burning a year on this promising young player's entry level contract.
We have seen this far too many times in the NHL where this decision was bungled and the team does not get full value from a player's ELC because they burned off a year too early.
Nylander is NOT a Center, when is this 'experiment' going to end?

If ANY team needs Fresh blood on the ice and in the locker rm its the dismal leafs who hardley celebrate after scoring any more ! Maybe they do after cashing those overpaid million + $ salaries !
If Fraser Minten is making your team you aren't a Stanley Cup contender.
The turning point for this team could be giving younger players a spot to grow in the NHL. Force the growth of these 3 young players, instead of looking around for the proven success. It might loose you a few games in the regular season but come playoff time it will pay off. With the CAP of this team, younger, less expensive and hungry will pay off.
