That was a game.
Imagine rooting for a team that loses games in preseason? Can’t relate.
Fully expected a loss but Schmid proved he deserves the net on opening night.
Nemec looks ready, more ready than Hughes. If Smith gets the 6th d man spot over him that would be criminal.
Holtz looks lost without two all stars holding his hand. Pretty concerning but with how well our drafting has been it’s no surprise we found a turd in a gold mine.
People have been hyping up Thompson. He honestly hasn’t looked that impressive and Lazar probably deserves that 4th line spot over him.
For those that missed the game, we rested all our stars, gave the baby devs (aka Utica Comets) the ice, and they proceeded to embarrass a mostly NHL lineup Islanders team.
It is possible that the Devils might be good.
Where’s the guy that hates Schmid??
Bahl has definitely leveled up. Skating and positioning have improved tremendously. Love to see it.
