We had the Rasmus Dahlin extension at 8 years, $10.5 million annually, so $11 million feels a lot neater. He has some of the best finishing abilities of any defenseman but is undisciplined, taking 41 minor penalties last season (most in the league). pic.twitter.com/HrFkiaojm5

>>[The thing with the Dahlin extension is that yes, defensemen are overvalued as a group, but the top 10 or 20 defensemen in the league are properly valued if not undervalued. His offensive skillset is incredibly rare and almost impossible to replace.](https://twitter.com/shawnferris98/status/1711364043989016859)
[here](https://imgur.com/r46yfaj) is Dahlin’s player card without the Krueger years.
« Undisciplined » made me lol. The league is full of habitual line-steppers. He’ll take a penalty reminding them their tomfoolery will not be tolerated and his team won’t be bullied. Take every minor you need to in order to make sure that message is clearly received. Same reason I love Cozens.
That’s crazy that he took the most in the league. I felt like even Boosh was taking more than Dahlin.
Was he really undisciplined or was it because he was the only one with a pair half the season???
