If MacEwen is NOT ready for tomorrow night, the #Sens will have to play a man short.
Not having the cap space ($62k) to call anyone up, they are required to play short for one game before they can get an exemption to call someone up, under $875k, with a cap hit of $0. #GoSensGo

Much rather be in our position with too many players for our roster versus 1 man short like Ottawa.
There is a lot of irony in Tim Stutzle coming out and throwing shade at the Leafs, saying that he took less to ensure the young players were all together so they could field the best possible team to win.
Then Dorion signs Tarasenko before Pinto, and finds the sens having to play a man short, still trying to get Pinto signed.
The team signs Sanderson to $8M, and can’t find $2.5M for the 22 year old 20 goal scoring center.
hell of a way to start the season
