  1. Keeping great 5v5 lines together for a PP has always made sense to me.

  2. As long Jack and Bratt are playing together then they can mash up the rest however. We got many very capable PPers

Makes sense. Nico felt under utilized on the pp last year outside of winning face offs. He banged in some garbage goals but anyone could do that. Meier and bratt also are effective on the same spot so it seemed obvious one of them were moving down. Along with Luke being full time, seems obvious they should try out spreading the wealth and throwing two strong units out against pk. If it really comes down to it they can stack the deck in important moments.

Just continue doing what worked in the preseason.

Based on how the Hughes line has performed thus far, keeping them together on the PP is a no-brainer

  6. Only issue with separating Jack and Nico on the PP is faceoffs. Nico is a great faceoff winner which gives Jack more time and opportunities to do his thing. But I know Jack has been working on faceoffs in the off-season so hopefully he improves this year

  7. I’ve been saying since last year, load up the 1st PP with all the other talent, and then give Jack the 2nd unit

I think you can just run the lines: Bratt Hughes and Toffoli add Mercer/ Palat and Hamilton.

Second unit: Holtz Hischier Meier add Palat/ Mercer and L. Hughes.

Would just be good for confidence too.

    PP1: First line + Palat + Hamilton
    PP2: Second line + Holtz + L. Hughes

    Who says no?

I think they should ask Jack to comment on it so he can say pee pee and giggle again 😂

I love it. Kinda thought we had the horses for two good PP units last year, but adding Toffoli and Luke makes it an easier call. Jack and Bratt on opposite sides on one unit, Nico and Timo on the other? That’s fucking insane lol

Wasn’t the biggest fan of Nico in the bumper anyway. He was fine there, but I think he’s more dangerous on the half boards. His writer is gonna feast when he isn’t feeding Timo.
