  1. Oiler fans, what happened? I thought your amazing McDavid was supposed to carry again?

Looks like your team is terrible, as always.

  2. The defensive effort from the Canucks was nuts to watch! All of these people are putting it as a major failing of the Oilers… and there are definitely some things to work on, sure, but more than any failing of the Oilers, is moreso the outstanding performance of the Canucks. With a slight twist of fate, this could have been an 8-4 game for the Oilers instead. So many close calls. Goalie was really on fire, and defense was super solid.

  3. Mcdavid invisible for 2 games in a row. That's a first for sure. There's a new kid in town and all

  4. Boeser now only on pace to score 164 goals, but the Canucks are still on pace to win 82 games… I guess I will take that!

  5. Wow what a start for Petterson and Boeser

2 games against the Oilers 2-0 outscored them 12-4

    Next is the Flyers

Hopefully Boeser keeps going and has a big year this year

Desmiltch 34 saves on 37 shots wow what a game (I think we found our backup goalie)

  6. Oilers is just not a good team. Can't rely on two men to win. Canucks have a good chance making the playoff if they keep playing a complete team game.

  7. Oilers should thank the hockey gods that theres such a thing as a powerplay because without it they would be a lottery team…this team cant do crap 5v5 lol…dont worry oilers fans the ducks and coyotes are in the same division too…you get to beat up them and then you guys will pump your chests again saying theyre an elite team

  8. How did Cole not cover the puck when McDavid scored? The Canucks' worst sequence of the game with the easy clear that got put directly on Leon's stick at the blue line. DeSmith was incredible. Very deserved win on his part while the rest of the team was kind of slack. Gave too many power plays to Edmonton.

  9. The oilers Defence is atrocious. No chance winning anything with that D and goalie. Poor McD and drai

  10. The league really wanted the Oilers to win this… 7 PPs to Van's 3 .. Sometimes it is to obvious

  11. Edmonton goaltending 75%😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  12. All home teams win except Edmonton 🤬🤬🤬What they were doing all summer except drugs 🤬🤬🤬???

  13. why did they not show the oilers 5 on 3 highlights? oilers did not want that footage shown? lmfao

  14. evveryone saying oilerss gonna win the cup this year? lmfao, desmith says nope……lol

  15. These NHL highlights are really nostalgic, having the 2008 video quality and bad cutting-out audio.

  16. [another generic criticism from some idiot who thinks these games actually matter]

  17. the Canucks are a different team from previous years, already. Its great to see Hoglander, Studnicka and Lafferty score. Both DeSmith and Lafferty were good pick-ups for the 'nucks.
Expected a different response for the Oilers tonight, after getting blown out by Vancouver in the opener. Maybe its better to say that the Canucks responded well after such a lopsided win over the same team.
