  1. They didn't survive….did we watch the same game….they put just as much pressure on the oilers as they took ! They won that game…. in spite of a few questionable penalties that ended up being goals for Edmonton !

  2. Total disappointment tonight for the OILERS but EDMONTON PLAYED much better than the first game which was a total disaster and embarrassment but they showed a lot of heart and spilled their guts out despite defeat and dealing with tough physical play and tight defense of the CANUCKS . They THE CANUCKS are very aggressive on checking the oilers especially on McDAVID. It’s still early in the season. No one is going to hand you the CUP. I FEEL BAD FOR THE OILERS TEAM AND THE MEDIA IS LABELING THEM STANLEY CUP FAVORITES… too soon. The Vancouver Canucks are playing just like their head coach RICK Tocchet who is an outstanding head coach. As a player He was a tough nose hockey player who played his game with passion and a physical presence and his team is playing like that. Hard , strong work ethic and physical and tough. DeSMITH LOOKED A LOT LIKE BILLY SMITH OF THE ISLANDERS especially tonight. Bouchard sucks and should be dealt as should FOGGLE. Nurse is not good defensively and SKINNER LOOKED SKINNED. Again Hyman didn’t play great and neither did EVANDER KANE. Connor BROWN MIGHT BE A BAD SIGNING AS HE LOOKS LOST OUT THERE. The defense is horrible still and they have a goaltending crisis . The only players who stepped up are LEON draisaitl and CONNOR McDAVID. Finally RYAN NUGGENT HOPKINS SCORED. QUINN HUGHES IS AMAZING

  3. 12 goals for 4 against. Was worried we could lose but they stayed the course. A couple of the calls were a bit weak. 4-3 with over 14 minutes left. They got 11 shots in those last minutes. Let them shoot from outside and limited their chances on the inside. Not sure which goalie did better Blackwood or DeSmith. Both played super good tonight. Think this will not be easy to keep under wraps. The rest of the league will be looking at the Canucks. This showed we can hold a lead.

  4. Lets be honest, if the refs didn't hand out PP's like crazy it would have been a different game and no way the Oil run up the shot clock. Played better tonight though.

  5. I'm just happy Demko finally has a good backup. Sam Lafferty was such a great last minute addition to this team man, the guy is a literal beast.

  6. Refs were handing Powerplays to McJesus and his gang the whole night. From the replays, it seems every Canucks penalty was legit. But, I wonder how many penalties the Oilers got away with. Glad to see Canucks survive this one.

  7. Too bad habs didn’t trade Allen for Pearson. Pearson with a blistering shot in habs opener helping us to a win!

  8. From a Canucks fan, we were outplayed which makes sense because the Oilers came out swinging and wanted revenge. Difference was our backup goalie is better than your starting goalie lol the Oilers just refuse to solve their goaltending issue. Oh…and McDavid is turning into a whiny b!#&%
