  1. That was quite genuinely one of the most flames moments of all time

  2. Iginlas_4head_Crease

If you don’t like that, you don’t like flames hockey!

  3. I ain’t trying to panic early season, but a game where we heavily outshoot and then lose in OT? :/

  4. BeKindBeWise

Of all the shots, sharangovich had the best one

  5. Babyblueyeti

Why didn’t Huska put Nick Ritchie in the shootout?

  6. Suzaku94

Still no one on the team willing to step up and be a difference maker

  7. brokensword15

Honestly it was a fun game, we looked very good for a lot of it.

Markstrom is playing well but the softies need to stop

  8. UpN_Down

Already not liking Kadri out there.Seems completely disengaged and selfish. Case in point the boneheaded penalty in OT.

Could end up as one of the worst signings in a long time for us.

  9. Johnny4Handsome

I hate losing winnable games like this.

  10. AbstractDavinci

Kadri is so brutal. At least pretend to care for the team.

  11. Crashviper

2 posts on three shots in a shootout…. Fuckin fade me

  12. Ok-Disaster3062

Mine as well get the first OT loss out of the way…

  13. tristan1616

Flames lose and no hot brunette gave me sexy time.

    Birthday ruined

  14. Huska with the smooth brain move putting Kadri in. Rewarding players who make constant mistakes is awful coaching

  15. Confused_Astronaut

5 one on one shots (including the penalty) and we successfully made… zero! Great job guys.

I’m pissed. Game should’ve been in the bag.

  16. lastlatvian

That was a fun game to watch, lots of action, story lines. Only the 3rd game of the season, and some new faces looking great like 17 with that almost clutch shot.

  17. Comfortable-Ad-7158

Way better than last game. And way better than last season. I see progression. All we can ask, teams don’t usually become instantly better.

  18. Drcanadaeh

The day Huberdeau learns that he has a decent shot it’s over for the NHL.

  19. Comfortable-Lock-726

    Fire Huska!

    Bring back Sutter!!

Jk. It’s only been 3 games and we are 1-1-1.

Everyone needs to calm down. Too early to panic.

  20. G-Swanky

Kadri was shit but why tf is Huska even rewarding him after that too many men??

  21. ThePedMeister

Outshoot the opponent nearly 2 to 1, allow multiple goals quickly to get them back in it, take bad penalties, do nothing in OT, hit multiple posts, lose in the shootout… At least the PK has been on point, and that Sharangovich release was wild.

  22. Nativejoel

Kadri was bad. Like looked like a ritchie or Lucic bad.

But hot take. I liked Huberdeau this game. He just needs either a new line or even just a different winger with him.

This entire team feels so close to clicking but something isn’t there. Maybe a certain line combination. A slightly different entry style. something needs to change even just a little bit and we have a wagon.

But 3 points in 3 games is better then the Oilers lol.

  23. aproposofwetsnow22

Everybody on the ice thought they were playing shinny tonight.

  24. you can’t win in this league with no high end talent. There is zero point in resigning Lindholm. He’s a good player but a complementary piece. There’s nothing on this roster for him to complement.

  25. Due_Performer_2314

Is it too early to point out that Huberdeau is looking bad to start the season.

  26. JESUS_WALKS

Lack of finish is going to make it tough to win games. We have 2-3 guys that can consistently score goals and none of them are particularly skilled hockey players. Huberdeau I thought had a rough game. Missed passes and giveaways. Just looks like he’s trying to do too much with the puck and second guessing himself. Not what you want out of a 10mil player.

  27. No-Nebula-653

lol matthew phillips scoring and sonny milano with the assist😂 it’s a canon event

  28. Confused_Astronaut

Feels like we have no real playmaker on offense. Pucks are going in via deflections and such. No creative goals. Just blasting away.

  29. user646789

Again, I feel like our problem is that our first line isn’t first lining.

Huby and Kadri have combined for a total of 1 goal and 2 assists so far this szn (all huby). $17 million dollars split between the two and we can’t get a game stealing goal from either of them.

We will not begin to see improvements until our top players start producing.

  30. TkachukeeCheese

So TIL that Sharangovich has an absolutely nasty release. I mean I had heard about it but to see it first hand is a whole other story

  31. MonkeySailor

The Flames are a work in progress. But what they’re working towards, I do not know

  32. super6646

That Kadri contract is going to haunt this team for years. Man looks done and it’s yr 2 of his deal lol.

  33. canadianjboy

I’m reserving any strong responses until we are like 15 games in, new system and all that. Gotta say though despite the tragic shootout posts we looked good today, as least a lot sharper than last game imo. Just gotta find something or some line combination that clicks and we will start seeing wins

  34. Paulhockey77

Why is Yegor playing on the 4th line? Wasnt this guy supposed to be playing in the top 6?

Kadri looked bad tonight. I don’t see any hunger or passion in his game

The top line still doesn’t look like it has any chemistry. Guys like Mangiapane were invisible, huberdeau frustrates me so much

Markstrom is our best player so far.

  35. lunchbawkz

As a team I thought they played well. Only game 3 but we’ve seen steady improvements since the scrambly game 1.
