I was unable to watch or listen to the game. It was a much closer game, Nuge with a 3 point night BUT only the big guns really contributed and playing the bottom line for as little as they did seems a waste but with 7 penalties to have a man advantage on it's kind of expected. The first goal by Leon 5 on 5 42 seconds into the game must have blown the roof off. We were all tied up at the end of the second but the boys couldn't get it done. It's two games they SHOULD (on paper) have won and didn't. Time for some completely honest conversations and perhaps a tweak or two but we'll see. Not panicking yet. Take care all.
Vancouver stronger than expected?
The Oilers so far have the same issue's this year as last year. Last year their offense covered alot of it up. Lack of consistent defense and HORRIBLE goaltending. Right now the offense is lacking and their defense seems to be a bit worse and their goaltending is much worse than when they played Vegas. I am sure they will get a better but they better get it started soon enough or their fans are going to start dying off due to exploding heads.
Defence and goaltending, same old same old. Makes you wonder how much do they actually work on those key issues that have been haunting them for years.
EO is overconfident. Cup or Bust? Good luck with that, seems like they’re cursing themselves.
Definitely bright spots in that game, but you can feel the lack of confidence they have in their goaltending.
It's only been 2 Games and one team. I still think we should all calm down. It's a marathon we want the Cup, there's Time
Madness and sadness
Remember last year when we had a guy that hit, fought , and scored goals? Keeping Stone hands Foegele over Kostin is something I can't let go. Oh, we would even have an extra 500k cap space. 😢
