Do I want to see the Leafs play better defensively? There's absolutely NO doubt about that, with:
– 6 straight games, going back to preseason play, of 3 or more goals allowed
– 3 straight of 4 or more goals allowed
Leaf fans deserve better but whether they'll GET better defensive play isn't so clear.
The Leafs D absolutely sucks and will cost them many points this season as well as an early playoff exit.
No because it's ingrained in their culture at this point in terms of their defensive issues.
Puck watching alone is a nightmare with this team.

Goaltending is an issue I said this at the end of last season and they keep going after and getting skilled forwards….guys a blueline and goaltending is what wins you championships I'm not a GM but damn look around …historically those strengths have won you championships…its not neurological science
