Rust’s words, along with his early performance, are very encouraging to see after he re-signed following a monster season and then noticeably dropped off. I figured he was content after securing the bag, which I can’t totally fault him for!
35 goals incoming.
Rusty just knows I’ve got his tarp on display in my living room until we lose two in a row, then it changes to Ricky Ricardo.
Having Rust back to his earlier form is going to be a massive boost to this team. When Sid’s line was clicking with Rust, the possession time was absolutely insane. I’m getting so excited for this season.
Rusty isn’t rusty. ^I’ll ^see ^myself ^out.
The start this year and what he’s saying are encouraging. Rust has shown himself to be a good player and a hard worker the entire rest of his career, so I think we’re all hopeful last year was just a rough patch and a one off.

I didn’t really doubt his effort last season. He looked like he couldn’t get out of his own way mentally, which he seems to be identifying himself. As cliche as it is, hopefully he can continue to focus on just playing since that’s seemed to work for him in the past.
