I live 7 minutes from the arena, man oh man, the traffic last night was unreal! Over 19,000 fans attended that game!
I never worry about Austin Matthews when he touches the hockey puck, hes one of the softest players in the league. There's no reason to worry about him win your centers are Barkov, Lundell & Luostarinen. Matthews can't really score on physical teams with defensivley sound centers, he's a regular season forward

Auston Matthews isn't scary vs Us. We have his number at home for some reason. Marner and Tavares scare me. Glad we could shut them down and get a big 2 points. Great Review Stu and Jaws.

Other teams figured out Tkachuk so probably wont be as ridiculously good as last year but still a top 10 player
Tkachuk looked Okay physical wise. I haven't really noticed him offensively but he's throwing the body around.
Chucky might just be apprehensive after the injury. Especially with an injury that lingers and impacts normal non hockey activity. Hell be fine. Go Cats
ur thinking of Martin St. Louis of TB… he was small and fast. I also agree with Stu on the refs – there seemed to be some real ticky-tack calls on us: Reinhart got called for hooking when he was on his back being flattened – and Barkov's tripping call at the end. Kulikov got away with that cross-check/boarding …. Luosty took a knee on knee on one play that loomed dirty as hell. I forget who the offender was. Maybe it was Reaves. The Leafs are a dirty team. We need to get better in the faceoff circle (c'mon, Barkov). Anyways, the arena was-a-rockin' last nite!! Great analysis guys…. let's go get another W!!! PS.: Stu read my mind with what I was thinking to critique.
Did anyone at game check out the player wirn equipment store? Jerseys from the final were going fir 10k fir chucky, 8k for Barkov….
Pretty soon, the snowbirds will be coming to Florida for the winter. It's pretty easy to tell them apart. If they speak French, they're from Montreal. If they constantly complain about the refs, they're from Toronto.
